Dedicated to the memory of Heather Mottram

Heather was a kind, loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed.  Heather loved gardening and flower arranging, boat trips down the canal and walking her dog Lucky. But what she loved most was being with her family.

We are asking people to donate and leave messages and photographs in memory of Heather. At a time when we cannot all be together to celebrate her life, we hope sharing our wonderful memories here can shine a light on this dark time. Heather would be so grateful for your support to NSPCC (Dyserth) a cause that was close to her heart. Thank you for all the love and support shown to her family.

I could not have been more blessed to have Heather as my Nana and the Great-Nana to my daughter. I will never forget the summers at ‘Nana’s’, the raspberry picking, the nights out we shared - flower club, theatre, ballet and music concerts. All the lunches out, family gatherings, celebrations, Christmas was made all more special with her there. But what I will remember most are the hugs we shared and that last time we said ‘I love you’ to one another.

I have fond memories of a weekend in Wales with Sian, with an Alice in Wonderland themed hen do imminent I needed an outfit ... Nana to the rescue! Before I could say no, Nana was rummaging through her chests full of material, a skirt pattern had been located and in a blink of an eye one 'Queen of Hearts' skirt was cut and ready to sew - netting underskirt and all! :) A perfect demonstration of Nana's kindness and selflessness to help others, irrespective of the ask - it was a good giggle too!
